Advice For People With Sensitive Skin

I have very sensitive skin. What makeup and skincare products can I use?

Stay AWAY from cosmetics that have Bismuth Oxychloride in them. It is found in many products and is kin to arsenic. You would never ingest arsenic and it makes perfect sense that you wouldn't put it on your skin! It is a skin irritant, and no wonder people break out.

Read your labels. Use homemade products. You can make it yourself, or buy one already made. I sell them and so do many people on Etsy.com. You can find my skincare line there too. Should you buy a scrub, either for face or body, test it on your hand first or a very tiny area of your face. Be very careful. Salt and sugar scrubs can be an irritant. I used a salt scrub recently that literally left scratch marks across my face. Try a product that contains cornmeal and definitely one that has oatmeal.

Stay away from any cosmetic that has perfume, talc, oil, starch, wax, rice powder-any filler.

Make sure you have a product that has has Titanium and Zinc.

Why? Because both are anti-inflammatories and help heal acne. Zinc is what gives you your sun protection factor so make sure there is a high content of that!
