Mineral Makeup 101

Did you know that you can wear your mineral makeup wet?

Well you can!

Put a dab of primer or moisturizer into the palm of your hand, sprinkle the desired amount of minerals, blend and apply with your fingertips or a cosmetic sponge.

For dry application, sprinkle a small amount into the lid of the jar. Take your powder brush and swirl into the minerals until all are tucked inside the brush. Tap off the excess on the side of the jar, preferrably over your bathroom sink, or vanity. Buff the minerals onto your face in a circular motion. Keep reapplying until you get the desired amount of coverage.

Struggling to get the coverage you desire?

Start SLOW. Experiment on the back of your hand first. See if you like the coverage-especially if you are trying to cover age spots or veins. Remember, a little goes a long way and less is more when it comes to mineral makeup application.

What else can I do with my minerals?

Use it as an eye or brow liner. Mix it with your favorite top coat and apply as nail polish. You can now make your own!
